Unfortunately, we need to postpone the Almost There Rescue fundraiser planned for this Saturday (Sept 14) due to a delay with the Tails of Phoenix book, which won’t arrive in time. We know this is disappointing and apologize for the inconvenience. As soon as the books arrive, we’ll announce a new date to celebrate and raise funds for Almost There Rescue.

We are thrilled to announce that on Saturday, September 14, 2024, The Joy Lush Club is partnering with Pup + Me Photo for a day filled with fun, fur, and friendship, all in support of Almost There: A Mom + Pups Rescue.
Kicking off the event is the exciting book release party for Pup + Me Photo’s latest masterpiece, Tails of Phoenix. This beautiful book captures the essence of loyalty, joy, and the unforgettable moments between dogs and their guardians. Best of all, 100% of the profits from the book will be donated to Almost There Rescue.
But that’s not all! The Joy Lush Club is also hosting a special edition of Pets and Pints, where you can enjoy your favorite drinks knowing that 20% of all bar tabs will go directly to supporting Almost There Rescue.
Come out, celebrate, and contribute to a great cause. Whether you’re a dog lover, a book enthusiast, or just looking for a good time, this event promises to be a day to remember!

Almost There: A Mom + Pups Rescue’s mission is to save mama dogs and their pups, providing them with the care, enrichment, and love they need to find their forever homes. Specializing in pregnant and nursing dogs, Almost There Rescue offers these dogs and their pups the time and space they need to grow, thrive, and become socialized. Their puppies follow a specialized “Puppy Culture” curriculum, developed by experts, including behavioral veterinarians and trainers. From birth until adoption, the pups engage in enrichment activities that foster socialization and healthy development. Mama dogs also receive personalized care from on-site behaviorists, ensuring they’re ready to become your new best friend.
Pup + Me Photo is a family dog photography team with a special focus on capturing the unique bond between guardians and their pups. Monica and Evan, the passionate duo behind Pup + Me Photo, believe that volunteering not only sparks their creativity but also brings immense joy. They find it incredibly rewarding to meet all the wonderful dogs, connect with like-minded people, and showcase just how amazing shelters can be. For them, there's nothing better than the feeling of giving back to the community while doing what they love.
