Book: Thomas Jefferson: Writings
Welcome to our first meetup of The Drunken Historians Society! We’re kicking things off by diving into the life and legacy of one of America’s most influential figures—Thomas Jefferson. For our first meeting, we’ll read Thomas Jefferson: Writings, a collection of his autobiography, letters, and political addresses.
Whether you're fascinated by Jefferson’s role in American history, his philosophical musings, or the contradictions in his life, this book will provide plenty to discuss over a drink. Bring your insights, questions, and, of course, a thirst for knowledge and good company.
What to expect
A relaxed, engaging discussion on the life and ideas of Thomas Jefferson, with plenty of historical context.
Great conversations with like-minded history enthusiasts.
Drinks! So bring your book and be ready for a good time.
